I’ve lived in East Point for 14 years, and I call the River Park community my home. As the owner of Terry Tax Service, I understand the challenges small businesses face. I’m deeply committed to improving the quality of life for all residents, especially our children and seniors. My previous experience running for the City Council has given me valuable insights, and I’m dedicated to making East Point a better place for everyone. What makes me the best candidate is my consistency, commitment, and loyalty. 

Park and Recreational Amenities:  Programs for all ages and abilities, plus workshops with experts and volunteers to inform residents about city programs.

Fiscal Sustainability: Disclose the spending of all revenue and expenditures to ensure transparency to the public.

Office of City Manager

The City Manager’s Office in East Point needs significant improvement due to its crucial role in executing policies and ensuring efficient city operations. To enhance this office, I would streamline administrative processes, improve communication between the City Manager, council, and residents, and ensure timely execution of city projects. Additionally, I would advocate for professional development opportunities for staff to boost their skills and effectiveness. Strengthening the City Manager’s Office will ensure smooth city operations and effectively address community needs. 

 One of the greatest challenges in East Point is ensuring public safety while fostering community growth. To address this, I would focus on improving infrastructure, such as installing more streetlights, sidewalks, police patrol and speed bumps to enhance pedestrian safety in our communities. 

As a candidate, I want to emphasize my commitment to fostering a sense of community and inclusivity in East Point. Beyond the specific issues addressed in this questionnaire, I believe it’s crucial to listen to and engage with all residents, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met. I am dedicated to working hard consistently to create opportunities for community involvement, whether through town hall meetings, neighborhood events, or volunteer initiatives to empower our communities.
